Texas Teenagers Planned School Shooting

Local news reports that several teenagers arrested in Donna, Texas, have admitted to planning a school shooting. Nathaniel Seth Montelongo and Barbarito Pantoja, both 17, were arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon by the Donna Police Department. Police received an anonymous tip that led authorities to Montelongo, according to local news.
According to a probable cause affidavit obtained by local media, Montelongo confirmed the planned shooting to police and provided them with a “detailed explanation of his role.” The shooting was scheduled for Friday, June 3, the last day of classes at Donna High School.
